| EventsATO at Tech During the 60’s Reunion Date: September 18, 2009 to September 20, 2009 Please spread the word and hold the weekend of September 18th-20th, 2009 in Atlanta. We’re still planning hotels, parties, events and venues… We’ll get you all the details as soon as possible. As in past reunions, the main focus will be on Saturday, but we will cook up something for Friday evening and Sunday morning as well. This is an open invitation to anyone who was an ATO at Tech anytime during the Sixties (We will, of course, think about special guests as well.). Let’s get as many as we can to what will be a memorable event! The Usual Reunion Planning Committee: John Robertson, Bill Viehman, Rich Boggs, John Uttenhove, et al. Click the link at the top to get the full details of the event. All Events |
| NewsHow Has ATO Influenced You?Thank you to our alumni members who recently responded to let us know how Alpha Tau Omega has influenced their lives. Here’s what a few brothers had to say about their time in the fraternity: Kenneth Marion Carter ‘59: “I was able to maintain friendships over the years.” James T. (Tom) Sinyard ‘60: “[Alpha Tau Omega] gave me the opportunity to have a social life at Tech and helped make me the charming fellow I am today.” To read more experiences, click the continued link. Be sure that you’re listed on the next published Honor Roll of Donors by making your donation before the giving year ends. A few of our donors recently shared the influence that the fraternity has had on them, and why they support ATO in their alumni years: • “My best friends are my fraternity brothers.” • “ATO has allowed me to be a strong relationship builder, which has helped me in my career. More importantly, it’s allowed me to be a happier person.” • “I would say the fraternity has completely influenced the person I am today.” Hasn’t ATO had a similar impact on you too? Let us know the ways it has – and make your annual fund donation – before the giving year ends on August 31. Continued... Interact with Alpha Tau Omega BrothersWe’re excited to introduce a new place in our new alumni community, where you can interact directly with groups of Alpha Tau Omega brothers. You can participate in the brotherhood community, create a new group for you and your friends, or join an existing one! Within each group’s page, the members have control over the content. You can upload and share links, videos, photos, events and comments with other members. Create and/or join as many groups as you’d like...such as a group for your pledge class, another for alumni in your major/career field, and maybe another for brothers in your state/region.
